Used To

I used to wear pink.
Now I wear red.

Like a leaf
no longer hiding,

Like a silent
solid yes.

I used to hang
on others' ideas;

now I make
my own.

What have you been eating, Headstrong Heena?

As long as you're in the zone, how about finishing that novel in the auspicious month of November?

Charles, seems right.

Vesper, I'm hoping it sticks. :)

Aniket, I'm way ahead of you.

Yup. It's done. I mean, not done done. But done*.

The ground must be tilled every now and then and filled with shit, in order to become fertile. Yes this is how imagination grows.

Mark, well said. It's good growing older, in many ways.

Aniket, I'm going to let it sit and rest a few weeks, before taking another pass at it. But yeah, I'm a lot happier with it now. It feels right, more or less.

Who'd have guessed? :)
