Full Circle: One Year Anniversary

Yes, Murmurs is one today.

It is difficult for me to express what this blog has meant to me over the past year. It began as a bit of an escape--a place to grow my writing and indulge my creative impulses--but it has evolved into another home. One that I share with all of you.

So thank you for visiting, and connecting, with me! I love our little corner of the neighborhood. Your support and good will have repeatedly recharged me, whenever my doubts ignited, and my discipline flickered.

I now trust that this candle will burn deep into the night.

I was happy on this day one year ago. These twelve month later, I return feeling it one-hundred fold.

Happy Anniversary!!

That candle is a gathering place.

Jaye, you were one of the first to visit me here. I'll always be appreciative of that. And I'm happy to have been along for your ride, as this year brought you the success you deserve!

Jason, thank you. The Clarity of Night had more than a little to do with that start. And remains a source of inspiration for me.

I'm just grateful that you and Aine have shared so much of yourselves here. :)

Happy Anniversary, Sarah!

Like Jason, I remember when you first appeared. It was a breath of fresh air. Your writing touched both of us so deeply.

I expect that circle of candles will get bigger and brighter. You have a quiet beauty and warmth that draws us to you. Keep sharing your gifts, the world needs them.

Charles, I do like acknowledging these milestones. It makes me feel like there's a solid foundation. Congrats on keeping the blog running for so long! That's a huge achievement.

Aine, thank you so much for that. :) And even if that circle continues to widen, you will always be right in the heart of it for me. I can't tell you how much your support and encouragement has meant to me over this year.

And I'm so happy that you've taken the blog plunge! I look forward to celebrating all of your milestones, too. :)

Vesper, thank you, too. Your blog is my northern home. :)

K, you might be young at blogging, but you've already inspired many thoughts and feelings on my end with your beautiful words and poems. Old Mossy Moon has quickly become one of my favorite places to visit.

Thank you for the kind words! I plan on celebrating many anniversaries to come. :)

Paul, thanks! I just need a cake. ;)
