From Florilege des Amours de Ronsard by Matisse
You were a poem
fully formed
when I was learning
to read on my own
And if violets were blue
before we met
Roses are red
ever since.
And it really is
as simple as that
Though you would
say it better,
my love

This goes into the pile of stuff that I've stolen and am going to use, to woo someone someday.
I doubt she'll be able to say it better though. She may 'show' it better (she better!), but I very much doubt she would be able to say it any better.
I she does word it better, I'll be luckiest damned dude who ever walked the earth. #justSayin'
There have been a few developments this valentine. Detailed updates will follow your way, depending on which way the dices roll.
P.S. I'm play awesome ping-pong too. :P
I had a line in there about lips that were meant to make the rhyme, but it struck me as too cute by half (which frankly, I was already in danger of), so I cut it out and tweeted it instead. Poor Twitter. Poor poor Twitter.
But yeah, Mrs. Aniket will be able to show, not tell. And that's the nicest woo there is.
VERY curious now. Insatiably curious. Old auntie curious. LET ME KNOW ASAP curious. (I-just-used ASAP-when-I-hate-people-who-use-ASAP-curious.) Got it? Good.
p.s. Ping-pong never hurts.
p.p.s. I should probably move off Blogger, huh? Put it out of its misery, once and for all.
Haha.
You know I'm your fan till the last ink blotch on the last of your crumpled papers destined to land in the bins, but I think you made the wise choice here. :)
Blogger really is stuck in a time vortex. But sadly, there aren't many better solutions out there.
I'm decently happy with Ghost, but it's still a work in progress. I'm so not a fan of wordpress.
Medium is the best when it comes to aesthetics, but the feel of a personal blog is lost there.
In the end, it all comes down to whatever makes you happy. :)
Interesting way of looking at it. I like!
should have written "though you would have said it better" and ended it abruptly. that would have had a better impact, and maybe created a feeling of loss.
plus, I don't know if playing on the roses are red/violets are blue thing works (it is cliched), but if you revise with that ending, I think it would work.
